Circa 1930s–1940s | Sterling Silver & Natural Turquoise
This rare Old Pawn cuff is a living piece of desert history—crafted in the late 1930s to early 1940s, likely by a Navajo silversmith using coin silver or early sterling. It features a hand-forged silver band set with a bold natural turquoise stone, worn smooth by time and touch.
When we came into the posession of this hierloom piece, it was broken. Half of the band was broken off making it unwearable. While we believe in preserving patina and leaving these itmes untouched, this repair was necesarry to make it wearable and able to be enjoyed again. The band was carefully and thoightfully re-soldered and 2 sterling silver braces were added to those newly soldered joints to add rigidity and durability. This cuff carries a story. It wasn’t made in a factory—it was made to be worn, and to mean something.
